So I did a little online shopping not too long ago and made some pretty awesome purchases. I wasn't able to take any good quality pictures of the items I purchased, but I will leave links to the products so you call can check them out for yourselves.
The first few items I bought were from Urban Decay. I have always heard really good things about this makeup brand, but I wanted to judge for myself.
The Vice Palette, newly released, really caught my attention. There are tons of reviews for this product all over YouTube and other beauty blogs, so I won't go into too much detail about this palette, but I will say it was definitely worth the money. You get 20 brand new eyeshadow colors; in Urban Decay's new formula, in a mix of textures (matte, satin, shimmer) and a dual-sided eyeshadow brush. A few of the shadows are a little chunky with a lot of glitter fallout, but the majority are very smooth and have really great color payoff.
The Ocho Loco 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Set is my favorite purchase. These eyeliners are so smooth and definitely live up to their name 100%. The set comes with eight full-sized eyeliner pencils in a great mix of colors; four of which are brand new. The color pigmentation on these eyeliners is sickening! (And if you're not familiar with "the lingo" that's a good thing.) I know I am definitely going to have a lot of fun testing these out.
The last thing I bought from Urban Decay was the De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray. I can't really say a whole lot, good or bad, about this product yet. I'm still in the process of testing it out, but I'll let you all know my thoughts in a few weeks once I've given it a chance.

The last few items I bought were some false eyelashes from Elegant Lashes and two makeup books about applying makeup to eyes.
I'll admit it, I'm kind of a lash whore. Anything full-on and dramatic is right up my alley! I think they can take any regular makeup look to a whole new level. I can't wait to try these out...especially the feather ones. I'm sure you will be seeing them very soon.

The two book I got were Beautiful Eyes: The Ultimate Eye Makeup Guide by Rae Morris and Style Eyes by Taylor Chang-Babaian. I read the first one in about 45 minutes. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The book had some really nice photos and makeup ideas, but the information was not presented as clearly as I would have liked. It seemed like the author had some trouble explaining what was going in each picture.

The second book has taken me a little bit longer to finish. I am finding this book a lot more informative as it covers a wider range of topics and goes into a more detail about each one, but in a clear and concise manner. I have definitely learned a lot.

Well, hopefully you all found this somewhat helpful or interesting...until next time!
